Heya,

I really have been pretty rubbish at keeping up with my blog haven't I! Anyway, this week it has been half term and it has gone far too quick for my liking! On Wednesday I went to Edinburgh for the day with my dad. It was the most extravagent form of childcare ever! I had to get up at FOUR IN THE MORNING and get to the airport for a seven o' clock flight. It was fun because I love going on airplanes and I got some really great pictures of the sunrise from above the clouds.
When we got to Scotland we met up with some of dad's colleagues and we went to see the council offices were my dad and his colleagues were doing their presentation. Then we went to the Starbucks where I sat for about an hour and a half whilst the others were doing their presentation and then when dad came back we went to the Zoo.
I was very exited about this because at Edinburgh Zoo they have the only Koala Bears in the country. They were very cute and I loved them.

You can see all my Zoo pictures at my facebook page..

Heya,
I've been back to school the past few day so I haven't really updated this much. I had hoped that there would be lots of time over the past few days to update because of the snow. But..... no! Is one day playing in the snow too much to ask? But no! We had to go into school and sit through boring lessons whilst it snowed outside. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I got up reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaally early today and listened to the news for 1hour waiting for them to say our school was closed. The news never came (*sniff*).
I did however have some fun in the snow on monday when I walked our dog,Charlie. He enjoyed eating the snow, which I found amusing! Also, if you threw a snowball for him to fetch, it would then shatter and he would get confused trying to find it!
If brief, the time in the snow what great!

Random Natterings

Hey Again,
I haven't really been up to much today really. I was, and reamain puzzled where the period of time between 10:00 and 12:00 went. I only logged on to facebook and MSN for a teeny minute. I also went on a dog walk with dad and visited the shop to buy a magazine. I came home, had lunch and came upstairs to read my magazine. It was all trash really, but nevertheless a good ...investment (*cough*splutter*). I then decided to check facebook and MSN. Another hour and a half down the drain. However whilst on MSN I was talking to my Aunt about fish. She has a large marine tank and whilst I would not get a marine one because of cost and maintenence, she was able to give me pointers about a tropical one. Apparently, tropical fish tanks are actually easier to maintain than just a bog-standard goldfish. I would have thought it the other way round. My Aunt also said that she had an old tropical tank and filter ect. that she did not want that would save me some money on a tank and stuff :) I also did not realise how much there is to consider when buying fish. You have to check that each soecies can live in peace with another species and what temperature the water is. I also can not imagine who will be remotely intersted in any thing I have just said but you never know!
I am also fully aware that if/as soon as my mum reads this, she'll say ; 'You're not having a fish in that bedroom of yours'! So, as I am writing all of this, I have been clearing my desk ready!

I hope you're all having a good weekend

Hey!!!

Hey, Katherine here!
I'm hoping that if you are reading this, you actually know me! If you do not, you are not welcome here and please go away :P!
I am starting this blog because it is my ambition to be a journalist and a very helpful cousin (*cough* Anna *cough*) said this was the thing to do :) .
Hopefully I will remember to keep updating it regularly- so keep checking back in. I'll tell you what I've been up to recently ( which of course is what blogs are for) and tell you what I think about the word. It is likely therfore that there will be a lot of waffle on this page and equal amounts of going off the point!

I am also on Facebook.
